Tech-based education emphasized at Universal Youth Leadership Summit
The future youth will build a new world with the power of innovation and technology. And for this, technology-based education has been emphasized in this year's Universal Youth Leadership Summit.
Organized by the Universal Youth Movement and with the support of the Youth Hub, this 3-day conference ended on Monday at Putra University Campus in Malaysia.
Earlier, Youth Hub president Pavel Sarwar gave a presentation on youth-led innovation and technology usage in front of 150 youth representatives from 20 countries including Bangladesh at the Santa Grand Signature Hotel in Malaysia.
He presented the keynote speech at the conference presided over by Shereen Shamla, the founder of Universal Youth Movement in Kuala Lumpur.
Author, social worker and tech evangelist Muhammad Altamish Nabil and Youth Hub General Secretary Sumaiya Zafarin Chowdhury were present among others as guests on the first day of the conference.
The second day of the conference was held at Sultan Idris Education University and the third day’s conference was held at Universiti Putra Malaysia. On the last day, various collective activities, award distribution, cultural program as well as presentation of essays were held.
Khairul Mazwan Binti Ibrahim Pati, Senior Manager of Academia Public Sector and Malaysian Research Accelerator for Technology and Innovation; Bureau Director of Muslim Filipino National Commission, Kosani Mortaba; Internal Medicine, Mary Johnston Hospital, Metro Manila Philippines, Derogangan; Princess Hanifa K. Sabdullah, founder of Anja Athena Holdings, Anja Julia Abu Bakar and entrepreneur and author SM Belal Uddin were present at the summit.
Continental Students Association, Tech Sathi, JCI Dhaka West, School of Business and Economics Association – UPM and Orchid Asia Infotech were the supporting institutions in the summit.
